Parade of Homes & daddy's little helper

Parade of Homes starts this week and the company ricky works for has a house in the parade. The last few weeks the company has busted tail to get it all done and it is amazing! Monday they had a sod laying party so I took Josh down and he saw this tractor and was in heaven so Uncle Jer was kind enough to give him a ride.

Josh wanted to be right there with ricky trying to adjust the sod, pat the dirt, carry the shovel it was awesome, but sadly I forgot pictures. I gotta get better at that.

Garden update

I've got 4 tomato plants, 1 string bean, 1 strawberry, 2 cucumbers, 7 carrots, 6 lettuce , 7 corn, 1 watermelon and 4 red pepper plants growing in my garden. My first tomato has started to grow. I'm so excited for all the yumminess.

Gardening

I'm trying my hand at gardening again this year. I've got bell peppers, corn, watermelon, lettuce, cucumbers, strawberries, carrots, tomatoes and green beans hope something turns out.

Josh loves to play with his blocks he'll sit for quite a while just building, destroying and building again.

Sprinkler shock

My Nana

Today we lost our sweet Nana. She's been such a cornerstone in our lives. She's been at all of our major events and it will be so strange to not have her with us anymore. But she is with the love of her life and at peace and for that I am truly grateful. I'm so glad we got the time we did with her over the years and for all the many memories she has blessed me with.
